Porta Rosa
The Porta Rosa is a stone gateway of the 4th century BCE at the site of Elea, Roman Velia, in Campania, southern Italy. Spanning a road between the two quarters of the city, it uses a true round arch of fitted wedge-shaped stones, among the earliest known in Greek architecture. It was uncovered in 1964.
