Prabuty

Also known as Riesenburg

Prabuty, in German Riesenburg, is a small town in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of northern Poland. In the Middle Ages its castle was the residence of the bishops of Pomesania, while their cathedral stood at nearby Marienwerder. The town passed to the Duchy of Prussia in the 16th century and to Poland in 1945.
