Pravarapura
Pravarapura was a capital of the main branch of the Vakataka dynasty in central India, founded by King Pravarasena II in the 5th century. It is identified with Pavnar near Wardha in Maharashtra, where excavations and sculptures of the Vakataka period, including scenes from the Ramayana, have been found. Several of Pravarasena II's copper-plate grants were issued from it.
