Prithviraj Raso
The Prithviraj Raso is an epic poem in Brajbhasha attributed to Chand Bardai, said to have been the court poet of Prithviraj Chauhan. It tells, with much legend, of Prithviraj's life, his elopement with Samyukta and his wars against Muhammad of Ghor. The surviving versions date from the 16th century or later, but the work has deeply shaped Rajput historical memory.
