Puduhepa
Puduhepa was a Hittite queen of the 13th century BCE, wife of Hattusili III and the daughter of a priest of Lawazantiya in Kizzuwatna. She was one of the most powerful queens of the ancient Near East: she shared in government, judged cases, reorganised the state cults along Hurrian lines and corresponded with Ramesses II of Egypt. Her seal appears with her husband's on the Hittite copy of the peace treaty with Egypt.
