Puerto Cabello

Puerto Cabello is a port city on the Caribbean coast of Venezuela, in Carabobo state, with one of the best natural harbours in the country. In the 18th century it was the base of the Guipuzcoan Company and was strongly fortified. It was the last royalist stronghold in Venezuela, surrendering in November 1823, and is now the main base of the Venezuelan navy.
