Puerto Cortés

Puerto Cortés is a city on the Caribbean coast of north-western Honduras and the country's main seaport. Its deep natural harbour developed from the late nineteenth century as the terminus of the national railway and an outlet for banana exports, and it is linked to the industrial centre of San Pedro Sula, about 60 kilometres to the south.
