Rachakonda
Rachakonda is a hill fort in Telangana, India, south-east of Hyderabad. From the late 14th century it was the capital of the Recherla Nayakas, Velama rulers of Telangana, whose kings such as Sarvajna Singabhupala patronised Sanskrit and Telugu learning there. The fort passed to the Bahmani Sultanate in the 15th century, and ruins of its walls, gateways and temples survive.
