Ram Raja Temple
The Ram Raja Temple is a Hindu temple in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, where the god Rama is worshipped as a reigning king. According to tradition, Queen Ganesh Kunwari of Orchha brought an image of Rama from Ayodhya in the 16th century, and it could not be moved from the palace where it was first placed. Rama is honoured there with a daily armed salute, and the temple draws large numbers of pilgrims.
