Randsfjorden

Randsfjorden is Norway's fourth-largest lake, about 75 kilometres long, in the inland district of Oppland north-west of Oslo. The farming district of Hadeland lies around its southern end. According to the sagas, King Halfdan the Black drowned in the lake in the 9th century when his sleigh broke through the ice on his way home from a feast.
