Rocca di Ravaldino
The Rocca di Ravaldino is a fortress in Forlì in Romagna, rebuilt in the later 15th century. It is famous for Caterina Sforza's defiance there in 1488 after the murder of her husband Girolamo Riario, which saved the lordship for her son. In January 1500 she was captured in the fortress after a fierce defence against Cesare Borgia.
