Roccamonfina

Roccamonfina is an extinct volcano in northern Campania, Italy, between the Garigliano and Volturno rivers, active from about 630,000 to 50,000 years ago. Its fertile slopes and caldera were home to the Aurunci and Sidicini in antiquity, and the area is now a regional park.
