Roossenekal
Roossenekal is a small town in Mpumalanga, South Africa, north-east of Middelburg. It was founded after the Mapoch War of 1882–1883 near the former Ndzundza Ndebele stronghold of KwaMaza and named after Roos and Senekal, two Boer officers killed in that war. Nearby are the caves where the Ndebele held out against the South African Republic's siege.
