Ros River
The Ros is a river of central Ukraine, a right-bank tributary of the Dnieper about 350 kilometres long, flowing past Bila Tserkva. In the 11th and 12th centuries it formed the southern defensive line of Kievan Rus', where the princes built forts and settled Turkic allies such as the Torks and Berendei, known collectively as the Chorni Klobuky.
