Rueda de Jalón

Rueda de Jalón is a village on the Jalón River west of Zaragoza in Aragon, Spain, below a ruined Islamic castle. After the Almoravids took Zaragoza in 1110 the exiled Hudid dynasty held out there, until Ahmad Sayf al-Dawla (Zafadola) handed it to Alfonso VII of Castile in the 1130s.
