Person
Sabun
Sabun was a sultan of Wadai in the central Sahel who reigned from about 1803 to 1813. Accounts of the Wadai Empire credit him with centralising administration, expanding the army and creating a more effective revenue collection system. These reforms enabled sustained state-building and marked Wadai's rise to regional prominence.
