Sadozai
The Sadozai are a clan of the Popalzai branch of the Abdali or Durrani Pashtuns of Afghanistan. Ahmad Shah Durrani, founder of the Durrani Empire in 1747, belonged to it, and his descendants ruled the empire until the Barakzai family took Kabul in the 1820s. Sadozai princes held the Principality of Herat until the early 1840s.
