Sayf al-Din Suri
Sayf al-Din Suri was a prince of the Ghurid dynasty of Ghor. After his brother Qutb al-Din Muhammad was poisoned at the Ghaznavid court, he seized Ghazni in 1148 and drove out Sultan Bahram Shah. Bahram Shah returned the next winter, captured him and had him executed, and his death prompted Ala al-Din Husayn to sack Ghazni.
