Scarborough, Tobago
Scarborough is the capital and main port of Tobago, in Trinidad and Tobago, on the island's southern coast. Founded by the British after they gained the island in 1763, it was the seat of the colonial government, overlooked by Fort King George, built in the 1770s. It remained the island's administrative centre after Tobago's union with Trinidad in 1889.
