Semois
The Semois is a river of the Ardennes, about 210 kilometres long, rising near Arlon in the Belgian province of Luxembourg and winding west through deep meanders past Chiny and Bouillon into France, where it joins the Meuse as the Semoy. Its wooded valley held small medieval lordships such as Chiny and Bouillon.
