Borgloon

Also known as Loon

Borgloon is a small town in the province of Limburg, Belgium, in the fruit-growing Haspengouw (Hesbaye) region. It was the original seat of the counts of Loon, whose county was annexed by the prince-bishopric of Liège in 1366, and it remained one of the 'good towns' of Liège. Today it is known for its orchards.
