Shangqiu

Shangqiu is a city in eastern Henan, on the plain between the Yellow and Huai rivers. Linked by tradition with the early Shang, it was the capital of the State of Song, founded by Weizi Qi to continue the Shang sacrifices, and later served as the Southern Capital of the Northern Song. Its name means 'Shang mound'.
