Shara
Shara was the patron god of the Sumerian city of Umma, worshipped in his temple there during the third millennium BCE. Sumerian texts call him a son of the goddess Inanna, and he appears in Umma's royal inscriptions and in the records of its long conflict with Lagash. His cult continued under the Third Dynasty of Ur.
