Skunkha

fl. c. 520 BCE · 6th century BCE

Skunkha was a chief of the Saka Tigraxauda, the 'pointed-cap' Saka of Central Asia, in the late 6th century BCE. Darius I of Persia campaigned against his people around 519 BCE, captured him and installed a loyal chief in his place. His figure, wearing a tall pointed hat, was added at the end of the line of captive rebels on the Behistun relief.
