Saka Tigraxauda
The Saka Tigraxauda, 'Saka with pointed caps', were a Saka people named in Achaemenid Persian inscriptions, probably living east of the Caspian Sea and along the Syr Darya. Darius I campaigned against them around 519 BCE and captured their chief Skunkha, who is shown in a tall pointed hat on the Behistun relief. They are often linked with the Massagetae of Greek writers.
