Tarlac City
Tarlac City is the capital of Tarlac province in central Luzon, Philippines. In 1899, as American forces advanced during the Philippine–American War, Emilio Aguinaldo made Tarlac the seat of the First Philippine Republic for several months before it fell in November 1899 and he turned to guerrilla warfare in the north. The province later lay on the route of the Bataan Death March to Camp O'Donnell.
