Teucer
Teucer is a hero of Greek mythology, son of Telamon of Salamis and half-brother of Ajax the Great, celebrated as an archer in the Iliad. Banished by his father after returning from Troy without Ajax, he was said to have founded the city of Salamis in Cyprus. The priest-kings of Olba in Cilicia, the Teucrids, also claimed descent from him.
