The Wrekin
The Wrekin is an isolated hill in east Shropshire, England, rising to 407 metres above the Shropshire plain. Its summit carries a large Iron Age hillfort, thought to have been a chief centre of the Cornovii before the Roman conquest. The Roman city of Viroconium was built at Wroxeter below it, and the hill remains a well-known landmark of the West Midlands.
