Thermon
Thermon was the chief sanctuary of the Aetolians in western Greece, dedicated to Apollo Thermios, near Lake Trichonida. Its temple of Apollo, built in the late 7th century BCE, is among the earliest known Greek temples, and the site served as the meeting place and treasury of the Aetolian League. Philip V of Macedon sacked it in 218 BCE.
