Thetford

Thetford is a market town in Norfolk, England, on the Little Ouse river. An important centre of the Iceni in the Iron Age, it later became a major Anglo-Saxon town and, briefly, the seat of the bishop of East Anglia. It was the birthplace of the writer Thomas Paine in 1737.
