Tierra de Campos
The Tierra de Campos is a flat, largely treeless region of the northern Meseta in Castile and León, Spain, spreading across the provinces of Palencia, Valladolid, León and Zamora. Resettled by Christian farmers in the 10th century as the frontier moved south, it became one of Spain's main cereal-growing areas and is known for its adobe villages and dovecotes.
