Tocco family

The Tocco were an Italian noble family of the Kingdom of Naples who ruled Cephalonia, Zakynthos and Leucas from 1357 and, under Carlo I Tocco, also Epirus with Ioannina and Arta. Ottoman conquest stripped them of the mainland in the mid-15th century and of the islands in 1479, after which the family returned to Italy.
