Trpimirović dynasty

The Trpimirović dynasty ruled Croatia, first as dukes and from about 925 as kings, from the mid-9th century to the late 11th century. Named after Duke Trpimir I, it included Tomislav, the first king, and Petar Krešimir IV. The line ended with the death of Stephen II around 1091, and the succession struggle that followed led to the union of Croatia with Hungary in 1102.
