Biograd na Moru

Biograd na Moru is a coastal town in northern Dalmatia, Croatia, south of Zadar. It was one of the royal seats of the medieval Croatian kings and the seat of a bishop, and in 1102 Coloman of Hungary was crowned king of Croatia and Dalmatia there. Venetian forces destroyed it in 1125, and it later recovered as a small port.
