Trubizh
The Trubizh is a river in Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine, a left tributary of the Dnieper about 110 km long. The medieval town of Pereyaslavl, modern Pereiaslav, stood on it, and the Primary Chronicle sets at its ford the tale of the young Rus' champion who defeated a Pecheneg warrior in single combat in 992.
