Chernigov

Chernigov, now Chernihiv, is a historic city in northern Ukraine, one of the oldest towns of Kievan Rus. The Truce of Deulino in 1618 confirmed Polish possession of Smolensk and Chernigov. This marked the maximum territorial achievement of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth against Muscovy.
