Uhha-ziti

14th century BCE · 14th century BCE

Uhha-ziti was the last major king of Arzawa in western Anatolia in the late 14th century BCE. He allied with Ahhiyawa against the Hittites, but Mursili II defeated his forces around 1320 BCE and took his capital, Apasa. Uhha-ziti fled across the sea to the islands, where he died, and Arzawa was broken up into Hittite vassal states.
