Ullastret

Ullastret is an archaeological site in the Baix Empordà in Catalonia, the largest known Iberian settlement in the region and the chief town of the Indigetes. Occupied from the 6th century BCE, it had stone walls with towers, temples and grain silos, and its buildings and imports show close contact with the nearby Greek colony of Emporion. It was abandoned around 200 BCE after the Roman conquest.
