Willibaldsburg

The Willibaldsburg is a hilltop castle above Eichstätt in Bavaria, the residence of the prince-bishops of Eichstätt from the 14th to the 18th century. Rebuilt in Renaissance style around 1600 by Elias Holl, it held the famous garden recorded in the Hortus Eystettensis, recreated in 1998, and now houses museums.
