Wuffa

6th century · 6th century

Wuffa was the semi-legendary founder of the East Anglian royal house, from whom the dynasty took the name Wuffingas. Later genealogies make him the grandfather of Rædwald and place his rule in the 6th century, but nothing about him is securely known.
