Dunwich

Dunwich is a village on the Suffolk coast of England that in the Middle Ages was a major port and one of the largest towns in East Anglia. Storms from the late 13th century onwards and steady coastal erosion swept most of the town, including its churches, into the sea. It is traditionally identified with Dommoc, the first East Anglian bishopric.
