Yashahpala
Yashahpala was the last known ruler of the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty, succeeding Trilochanapala in the early eleventh century, when the once great empire had dwindled to a small territory around Kannauj and Allahabad. His inscription of 1036 is the last record of the dynasty, and soon afterwards the Gahadavala dynasty took control of Kannauj.
