Yonago
Yonago is a city in western Tottori Prefecture, Japan, on the Sea of Japan coast near the border with Shimane, in the former province of Hoki. Its castle, completed in the early 17th century, was held under the Tottori domain by the Arao family, senior retainers of the Ikeda lords, who governed Hoki on their behalf. It grew into the main commercial town of western Tottori.
