Tottori Prefecture
Tottori Prefecture is the least populous prefecture of Japan, on the Sea of Japan coast of western Honshu, with its capital at Tottori. It corresponds to the old provinces of Inaba and Hoki, which formed the Tottori domain of the Ikeda family until the abolition of the domains in 1871. After a period of merger with Shimane it was re-established in 1881.
