Person
Zarinaea
Zarinaea is a legendary Saka queen known from the Persica of Ctesias, a Greek physician at the Persian court in the late fifth century BCE, and from later writers such as Diodorus. She is said to have fought the Medes, made peace with them and founded cities, and to have been honoured with a great tomb by her people. Modern historians treat the story as semi-legendary.
