Znojmo
Znojmo is a town in southern Moravia, Czech Republic, on the Thaya river near the Austrian border. From about 1092 it was the seat of a Přemyslid appanage duchy, and the rotunda in its castle preserves 12th-century wall paintings showing rulers of the dynasty. The town became a royal town in the 13th century and is known for its wine.
