Zou Ying

d. 135 BCE · 2nd century BCE

Zou Ying was a king of Minyue in present-day Fujian in the 2nd century BCE. He pursued an aggressive policy against neighbouring Yue kingdoms, attacking Dong'ou in 138 BCE and Nanyue in 135 BCE. When the Han emperor Wu sent armies against him in response, his brother Zou Yushan killed him and sent his head to the Han commanders, averting the invasion.
