Abu Sa'id Bahadur Khan

d. 1335 · 14th century · Also known as Abu Saʿid

Abu Sa'id Bahadur Khan was the last effective ruler of the Ilkhanate, the Mongol state centred on Iran. His reign saw peace with the Mamluks but also rivalry among powerful amirs. When he died without an heir in 1335, the Ilkhanate rapidly fragmented among competing factions and regional dynasties.
