Alatri
Alatri, ancient Aletrium, is a hill town of the Hernici in southern Lazio, Italy, famous for its acropolis enclosed by massive polygonal walls of the pre-Roman period. Loyal to Rome during the Hernican revolt of 306 BCE, it remained an allied city with its own laws before receiving Roman citizenship after the Social War.
