Albanian Fascist Party

1939–1943 · 20th century · Also known as Partia Fashiste e Shqipërisë

The Albanian Fascist Party was the ruling party of Albania under Italian occupation, founded in April 1939 after Italy's invasion and modelled on Mussolini's National Fascist Party. Membership was required for many state posts, and the party was subordinate to Italian officials in Tirana. It was dissolved in 1943, after the fall of Mussolini.
